Challenge Yourself
Challenge yourself by increasing your daily exercise in small 10-minute bouts. When you increase too much, too fast you tire yourself out. But when you never increase your exercise, your body adjusts and you no longer receive the same benefit. Try adding 10 minutes to your walk, or other form of exercise, at least one or two days this week.
Take Needed Breaks
Be sure to take breaks when you need to. High-intensity exercise such as running and jumping can use a lot of energy. To re-fuel, take breaks in between high-intensity bursts. You can stretch, do some core work, or simply walk around to catch your breath. It’s better to build up slowly to higher levels of intensity than to injure yourself or tucker out by progressing more quickly than your body is ready for.
